MY LIFE IN THE CITY

Hello everyone, a long time ago my family and I migrated from a nice and beautiful countryside to the big city. My parents decided to make this decision to move to the city to have a better life, because going to the city can improve things, essential systems or basic needs that are necessary to have a good life. For example, health, sewage system, drinking water, education among other things. Having said that, we can move on to what my life in the city is and will be like.

Family life in rural areas

Let's start talking about my rural life, well when we lived there, my grandfather told me that life was very quiet, that there was no noise from the cars of the factories. The only thing you could hear were the birds and as the sun always reached us because there were no buildings to get in our way, there was no noise from the factories or cars.

That my grandfather told me, I think it is true, since in the countryside there is a life where technology or the new culture that exists in the cities does not reach. In that case the city is very nice because you can meditate, and you can have a place where you have a fresh air where the worries are minimal.

Why does a family decide to move from a rural to an urban area?

Continuing with my life in the city, I can say that I am very used to living among buildings and houses because they are beautiful structures and have a lot of glass. I have also met my best friends and I have learned many things at my school. When I have gotten sick with the flu or a headache, the hospitals have been very good because I have not gotten very sick.

That I have realized by living in the big city is that it makes it easier for you in many things like education and also helps you to improve your living conditions like food and electricity. But the most important thing that living in the city helps you is to improve your chances of being able to get these basic necessities with a good job compared to one in the countryside. That is why many families go to the city to be able to get these new necessities and to root the new culture that is in the city because the society is going to advance and if they stay behind, they are going to disappear.

To what extent this change of life would affect a person, either economically, emotionally, among others.

It would seem that it is very easy to go to the city from the country, from what I am saying. However, it is not easy, there may be families that would have had more resources than others, so they did not feel the change economically, but from what my grandfather told me, for my family it was different.

He told me that our family was humble in the countryside, so we did not have so much money when we went to the city, it was difficult for us to have a lot of money, so we started in the slums of the city. My parents did not have so much money to support the family, their emotional situation was fragile and as a person they were broken, but they did not give up, so they kept going and for the same reason it is possible to write this article.

So, is it positive or negative to go to the city? I can say that in great part it is positive, since as I said before, it helps to improve the living conditions of many families, but there are also negative things like everything. For example, the big factories that cause pollution that can make people's lungs sick or there can also be a lot of traffic causing a lot of noise affecting the hearing of the citizens. Having exposed these two points I can say that for me it is positive to go to the city, although it has negative things, they are minimal, and it is an effort to have a better life.
