‘A new life, a new fear’

 

I have never known the city, since I was little, I imagined it as the movies where cities are very modern and technological, when they told me that I would move it was like a combo of emotions because I would be leaving my whole life behind and starting a new one.

Starting because I have to leave my lifelong friends and I have the fear of not being able to adapt to a new environment where everything is faster and people are strange to me here in the city because I knew everyone in one place, to define this I will tell you the advantages and disadvantages of going to live in the city being from a rural area.

In the part of disadvantages, I can say that the truth is very nice to live in an area where everything is simple, quiet and that is what I will miss the most, losing contact with my friends also affects me a lot because I do not want to lose anyone.

On the other hand, being honest there are many advantages of living in the city, I will receive a better education, I will meet new people, I will know places and that excites me, it is a new experience that I will adapt according to the time.

I think that very soon I will adapt, I am a teenager and although it may be hard to live in a totally unknown place, I know that I will get used to it and have a new life and at the same time new fears.
