Have you ever thought about moving to the city?
Here is my experience of how it was when I moved with
my whole family to the city
The 8-year-old my father was offered the opportunity to work in the city, so to prevent my father from traveling every weekend, my family decided that it would be better for us all to move, at first it was an ineffable idea, Nobody wanted to leave behind the life they had already built, we had our friends, work, neighbors who always helped us if something happened and school. Later we were all fascinated by the idea of moving to a bigger place where we could meet and have new experiences.
POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES THINGS OF MOVING TO THE CITY
At first it was difficult to leave the life you had
already built, to separate yourself from your friends, although today with the
technology we have you can talk to them every day and you can even call them,
it is not the same to talk to them on the phone than in person, then you start
to focus that you weren't the only person who ended up moving to the city, you
get to meet new people and you become very compatible with them.
Likewise, it is very difficult to get around the city,
all places are far away and sometimes there are many vehicles and a lot of
traffic is generated, so the trips that should last 15 to 20 minutes can
sometimes last 30 to 40 minutes and if they are Fridays usually last up to 1
hour, and not all people respect the signs, which causes more traffic and in
some cases accidents. With my family we used to always leave 1 hour before home
to save ourselves all the traffic and we always had the motto of "It is
better early than spending all day in traffic".
One of the things that I liked a lot when I moved to
the city was school, it was always fun there, they accepted me very well and
the first day I was able to make many friends, but for my older brother it was
not the same, he had some problems with subjects and he always had extra
classes because he didn't understand very well, he always gave his best and
always tried to improve his grades. On the other hand, my mother found it very
difficult to transport around the city, she always took the wrong transports and
when she asked other people for help they were always very rude, that's why she
always went by TAXI and then when she got more attached to the city she went by
subway to work.
Moving to a city has many positive and negative
aspects, it all depends on the environment where you are and where you grow up,
in addition the support of your family and your friends also influences a lot,
at the beginning it will be hard because not knowing anyone, not having someone
to talk to about your days and being busy with moving and trying not to get
lost in the city, but as time goes by you meet new people, learn the streets of
the city, create new experiences and realize that moving to a New environment
that you did not know before becomes one of your favorite things, to be able to
create new experiences with other people, to know the traditions of those
people and that they know yours, and in the end you rebuild your life.
